Insider Exposure hosted its first annual junior all american camp in Memphis, TN on June 7th. With over 80 participants from all across the country, players had the opportunity of competing with some of the best players from the classes of 2018 and younger. Below is an excerpt featuring of our local standouts from the camp. Full story is located here.

2018

Gabby Crawford – 6’2 Post – Munford – Munford, TN – Mem Elite Daniels – Very high motor post player, Gabby is a lefty who finishes consistently around the basket. Huge upside and probably going to be a major BCS player.

2019

Brianna Cooks – 5’7 PG – Central HS – Memphis, TN – Team Slink – Cooks is a player I’ve written quite a bit about. I think I really want to see her be consistently as good as she was at this camp. In this setting Cooks was awesome, great handles, knocking down the 3 ball with consistency and finishing near the rim. She also was a willing post passer and made hard cuts anytime the ball went in to the post.

Madison Griggs – 5’9 W – Houston HS – Memphis, TN – Memphis Future Stars – Silky smooth player who at times didn’t play as hard as she could have. She’s got a long frame and great athleticism and has the potential to be a D-1 player if she can increase her motor.

2020

Endya Buford – 5’6 PG – Colonial MS – Bartlett, TN – Memphis Future Stars – Wiry PG with amazing handles and super speed, Buford was an ultra athletic finisher. I personally didn’t see her perimeter game, if she had one, that maybe an area for improvement. The other area would be in the 1 on 1 close out individual drills, she let players drive by her without much resistance. In games players didn’t drive by her when she was on the ball but in the future as she learns to close out better, she needs to be able to keep players in front of her.

Christina Nichols – 5’7 CG – Millington MS – Millington, TN – Memphis Mambas – Nichols is a ultra athletic guard who has nice handles and a perimeter jumper. She’s a quick athlete with good hands and will be one of the top guards in west TN in her class.
